Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will undertake a range of responsibilities aimed at improving mental health outcomes for families and individuals:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments with couples and families, diagnosing various mental health conditions.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the needs of diverse clients, addressing issues such as marital conflict, familial grief and loss, and adjustment challenges.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions that incorporate both joint and individual therapy to foster communication and reconciliation.

• Support clients in navigating specific challenges, including but not limited to substance abuse, conflict resolution among family members, and stress management related to job and medical issues.

• Document progress notes and treatment plans in line with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on working with couples and families facing various challenges. This includes individuals experiencing issues related to alcohol abuse, physical or psychological trauma, grief, blended family dynamics, conflicts among siblings, and difficulties in parent-child relationships. You will play a vital role in providing therapeutic support that is compassionate, respectful, and effective for our diverse clientele.

Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Must hold a valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) designation.

• Possess a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Have at least two years of direct experience in a clinical setting, working with couples and families.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have demonstrated effective therapeutic techniques in family settings and are comfortable using digital platforms for teletherapy.
