Production Supervisor- Afternoon Shift

 

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, quality, and on-time delivery of products. This role leads production team members while also directing and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. The supervisor plays a key role in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

· Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production staff to meet production targets.

· Monitor workflow, productivity, and equipment performance to optimize efficiency.

· Work closely with maintenance teams to prioritize repairs and minimize production downtime.

· Enforce safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment. Identify and resolve production issues, delays, and bottlenecks.

 

Skills Required:

· Analytical, Continuous Improvement Process, Assembly Lines, Manufacturing Processes, Inventory

 

Skills Preferred:

· Computer Numerical Control (CNC)

 

Experience Required:

· 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment

· 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience

· Experience working with maintenance teams or equipment troubleshooting

· Ability to work effectively with a unionized workforce of up to 30 employees

· Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment operation, and safety standards

 

Education Required:

· High School Diploma / GED

 

Education Preferred:

· Certification Program, Bachelor's Degree, Associate Degree
