Industrial Engineer 1 (Lean Manufacturing)

Job Title: Industrial Engineer 1 (Aerospace)
Location: Everett, Renton, Seattle, Auburn, or Puyallup, WA (100% On-site)
Pay Rate: $43.00 / hour (W2, no benefits)
Duration: 23 Weeks (~6 Months Contract)
Shift: 1st Shift (5:00 AM – 7:00 AM start, 8.5-hour days)
Job Summary
We are hiring 10 entry-level Industrial Engineers / Methods Process Analysts to stabilize aerospace production systems. You will observe build processes, document time standards, and apply lean methodologies to drive flow and efficiency across various Washington state facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe, analyze, and document production sequence and time standards.
- Identify and eliminate safety, ergonomic, and quality defects using root cause analysis.
- Provide process improvement recommendations to reduce non-value-added work.
- Build disruption recovery plans using capacity and constraint analysis.
- Create visual metrics tools and collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business (Finance, Admin, Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Economics) OR an advanced technical degree (Engineering, Math, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science).
- Skills: Proficient in MS Office, strong time management, and excellent communication.
- Preferred: 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, lean principles, or capacity planning.
