QUALIFICATIONS General job duties for all store team members. Operate all equipment. Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler Prepare product Receive and process telephone orders Take inventory and complete associated paperwork Clean equipment and facility approximately daily Training Orientation and training provided on the job. Communication Skills Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person Essential Functions/Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator) Must be able to make correct monetary change Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen WORK CONDITIONS Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks. In-store temperatures range from 36 to 90+ degrees. Sudden changes in temperature, fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped quarters including walk-in cooler, hot surfaces/tools up to 500 degrees or higher, sharp edges and moving mechanical parts. SENSING Talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks; depth perception; ability to differentiate hot/cold surfaces. TEMPERAMENTS Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Including, but not limited to the following: Standing: Most tasks performed standing Walking: Short distances for short durations on varied surfaces; height of work surfaces 36–48 inches Sitting: Office work at a desk or table Lifting: Weight up to 50 pounds; cases moved to shelves up to 72 inches high Carrying: Cans, weighing up to 3 pounds 7 ounces; occasional 30-pound sauce; trays of dough weighing ~12 pounds Pushing/Pulling: Move trays on dollies; some pulling Climbing: Navigate stairs or ladders to change prices or perform maintenance ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Qualifications include: Stooping/Bending: Repeated forward bending at pizza assembly and front counter Crouching/Squatting: Occasional stock and cleaning Reaching: Frequent reaching above and below shoulder height, including turning ovens and reaching shelves Hand Tasks: Frequent use of hands, grip, pinching, dough shaping, use of pizza peel and rolling cutter Machines/Tools: Pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel DRIVING SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES Deliver product by car to customers and distribute flyers/door hangers. REQUIRES Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record; access to insured vehicle for delivery. ESSENTIAL SKILLS Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area. Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings while carrying product. PHYSICAL DEMANDS (DELIVERY) Carrying pizzas and beverages; driving and walking between store, vehicle, and customer locations; climbing stairs as needed during delivery.
