Payroll & Accounting Specialist

CV Resources is partnering with a growing client in the entertainment industry to help them identify a Payroll & Accounting Specialist to join their accounting team. Our client is a rapidly expanding multi-location organization operating entertainment venues across multiple states. Location: Phoneix, Arizona (onsite) Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 annually Benefits: 401(k) with company match Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage Stable and growing organization with long-term opportunity Position Overview: The Payroll & Accounting Specialist will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounting and payroll operations for a multi-entity organization. This individual will primarily be responsible for payroll processing while also assisting with accounts payable activities and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations Assist with employee payroll inquiries and payroll-related reporting Support accounts payable processes including invoice entry and payment processing Perform bank and account reconciliations Assist with month-end close activities and general accounting support Maintain accurate records within accounting and payroll systems Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and workflow efficiency Qualifications: 3 years of payroll and/or accounting support experience Experience processing payroll for multi-location or multi-state organizations preferred Understanding of payroll procedures, deductions, and compliance requirements Experience with accounts payable and bank reconciliations Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Excel and accounting software systems NetSuite experience is a plus Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment where they can support both payroll and accounting operations.
