Accounts Receivable Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join one of our great clients in Mocksville. The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for managing the company's incoming payments, maintaining accurate customer accounts, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances. This role works closely with customers, sales teams, and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and support healthy cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and timely.
• Process and apply incoming payments, including ACH, wire transfers, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on past-due balances.
• Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices and payment arrangements.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and customer account issues.
• Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate account records.
• Prepare weekly and monthly accounts receivable reports for management.
• Work with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment disputes.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
• Maintain customer files and supporting documentation in accordance with company policies.
• Support audit requests and provide documentation as needed.
• Recommend process improvements to increase collection efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, collections, or accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Experience with systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This is a temp-to-hire role so all applicants should be available to start immediately.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
