Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery RN to provide comprehensive perinatal care to laboring patients from 35 weeks gestation, including postpartum and newborn care. This position requires dedication to patient safety, clinical excellence, and adherence to established protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor laboring patients, ensuring timely detection of complications.
• Administer medications and interventions per physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Provide postpartum care, supporting mothers with recovery and newborn care.
• Educate patients and families on labor, postpartum recovery, and newborn health.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document all clinical assessments, procedures, and patient progress accurately.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Georgia or a Compact State at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant Labor and Delivery experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in postpartum and neonatal care practices.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00).
• Knowledge of labor management, fetal monitoring, and postpartum assessments.
• Comply with facility and travel regulations, including RTO and holiday schedule policies.
