Facilities Technician

Facilities TechnicianThe Facilities Technician is responsible for the on-site maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of restaurant equipment for several Burger King restaurant locations within a geographically assigned area. This position requires travel between restaurant locations on a daily basis. As a member of the Facilities Team, the Facilities Technician will interact and collaborate with team members, restaurant personnel, and JSC Executive and Corporate Team personnel.JSC Management Group Facilities Technician is responsible for completing objectives required to maintain the physical integrity of each restaurant and equipment to which they are assigned. This is handled with the implementation of preventative maintenance practices and responding to the maintenance needs of each restaurant in a timely manner.Position Responsibilities:Utilize the timeclock app properly, including recording mileage, hours, and job descriptionsPrioritize and complete needed equipment repairs in a timely fashionReview and update the facilities spreadsheet on the Google Drive daily before leaving each restaurantWork to implement preventative maintenance procedures as defined by the company's checklistDevelop a work schedule to minimize the impact of position responsibilities and functions on customer service and normal restaurant operationsOrganize work activities to ensure all repairs, both essential and minor, are completed satisfactorily and in a timely mannerRespond as quickly as possible to all internal communicationComplete the Equipment Checklist for every restaurant visit and email it to View email address on click.appcast.io and submit daily recaps to View email address on click.appcast.io all hours necessary to open new restaurants efficiently within specified time limits and deadlines in any capacity neededClearly communicate with restaurant leaderships on resolution for follow up on equipment needing additional serviceRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:Disciplined to work independentlyGood verbal and interpersonal skillsAbility to interact productively with coworkers and function well in a team environmentAbility to multitask and adjust to changing assignments while maintaining productivity, composure, and a pleasant attitudeConduct training for all restaurant leadership on basic maintenance of all equipmentOversee the detail cleaning of each restaurant in the assigned districtAbility to clearly report and/or escalate issues to the appropriate company personnel, as needed
