This is accomplished by processing requests; routing officers for court appearances; providing information to municipal court; assisting officers; receiving, reviewing and processing information; responding to requests and inquiries; assisting with auction information; and responding to requests and inquiries. Other duties include preparing and filing reports.Specific Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssists customers by responding to requests and inquiries; assisting with open records requests; and recommending courses of action for citizen requests.Tracks information by preparing, processing and validating information submitted; entering data; preparing and submitting reports; and advising personnel of regulations.Maintains records by reviewing reports submitted; entering information; attaching documents to reports; and filing.Acts as court liaison by routing officers to court; furnishing documents; maintaining the court system; and contacting officers for appearances.QualificationsHigh School graduation or equivalentTwo years of customer service experienceSupplemental InformationKnowledge of public information act, related legal opinions and state retention guidelinesSkill in the operation and use of standard office software which includes databases and presentation programs, along with standard Microsoft productsAbility to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with co-workers, the public, and elected and appointed officialsEmployee Benefit InformationHealth Insurance- BCBSDental Insurance- BCBSVision Insurance - EyeMed InsightFlexible Spending - PayflexEmployees can set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for yearly out of pocket medical expenses.
