Now Hiring - Entry Level Inspectors for Quality Check and Medical Device

1st and 2nd Shift Available / $18/Hr to $19/Hr

Job Summary:

The Inspector 2 is responsible for performing detailed visual and dimensional inspections on parts and products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role involves using tools such as microscopes, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment in a clean-room manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products for quality and compliance.
• Perform visual inspections and dimensional measurements using precision tools.
• Read and interpret work orders, specifications, and mechanical drawings.
• Record inspection results accurately in Excel and quality systems.
• Identify and isolate non-conforming products.
• Support audit activities, 5S initiatives, and safety programs.
• Assist with specialized inspection processes, including FPI as needed.
• Cross-train in quality and packaging functions and support team training.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or quality inspection experience.
• Experience with microscopes, calipers, micrometers, and inspection equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Basic Microsoft Excel and data entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive inspection tasks.
• Experience in clean-room, semiconductor, micro-electronics, or precision manufacturing environments preferred.

Work Environment: Clean-room, micro-electronics manufacturing setting requiring the use of inspection tools, handling small components, and following strict quality and contamination control procedures. Standing or sitting for extended periods may be required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $19.75/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
