Are you a culinary professional looking to take the next step in your career? Troy Social Restaurant and Bar is seeking a talented Executive Sous Chef to join our team in Parsippany, NJ. As an Executive Sous Chef, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while working alongside a team of passionate individuals dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and execute creative menu plans
- Ensure high food quality standards are consistently met
- Manage food cost and inventory to optimize profitability
- Supervise back of house operations to maintain efficiency
- Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to culinary standards
Required Skills:
- Degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- Experience in menu planning and development
- Strong understanding of food cost management
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Experience in fine dining and banquet catering
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with fish and seafood preparation
- Knowledge of catering operations
- ServSafe certification
- Experience in food and beverage management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Salary and Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and dining discounts.
