Lead by example in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
Prepare fresh, delicious meals for students, faculty, and guests
Support catering events, from daily dining to special occasions
Help lead and motivate the culinary team during busy service periods
Jump in wherever needed to keep the kitchen running smoothly
Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and safety
Bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-first mindset
Be flexible, reliable, and open to learning and feedback

Schedule:
Monday- Friday
8:00 a.m.- 2:30 p.m.
Additional hours may be available for events with advance notice.
Ideal candidates will have a valid driver's license, as this role includes driving client vehicles for catering and events.
Pay Type:
$25.50 - $26.50 Hourly

Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.
Interact cheerfully with SAGE guests and Team Members, providing service with a smile.
Oversee the preparation of menu items in strict accordance with both SAGE recipes and HACCP guidelines.
Clean all work areas, equipment, and guest service areas on an ongoing basis.
Assist with inventory and ordering.
Train, motivate, and oversee Cooks and culinary Team Members.
Set a good example each day by being a role model and leader in the kitchen.
Culinary degree or equivalent culinary experience required.
Strong organizational skills required.
Experience delegating tasks and following up with Team Members.
Capacity to train and motivate others.
ServSAFE® certification preferred, but not required.
