Position Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on Finance & Operations Consultant to support the firm's day-to-day finance and fund operations. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will help execute accounting, reporting, and fund administration tasks across the management company, our fund vehicles and SPVs. This is an ideal role for a detail-oriented finance professional with closed-end fund experience who wants flexible, part-time engagement with the option to take on more hours as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Fund Accounting & Reporting

• Support preparation and review of financial statements, management reports, and KPIs for the management company and investment funds.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for internal and external stakeholders, including Limited Partners.

Fund Operations & Administration

• Help prepare capital call and distribution notices, LP allocations, and management fee calculations.
• Maintain supporting schedules and workpapers across fund entities and SPVs.
• Liaise with fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors as needed.

Accounting & Compliance

• Support accurate and timely accounting in accordance with US GAAP.
• Help maintain internal controls and assist with audit and tax-filing preparation.

Cash & Treasury Support

• Assist with cash tracking, liquidity monitoring, and reconciliation across accounts.

Ad Hoc Analysis

• Build and maintain financial models, fee schedules, and operational analyses to support decision-making.

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of finance or accounting experience, with private equity closed-end fund experience required (venture capital experience preferred).
• CPA designation, or active progress toward the CPA with one or more parts of the exam passed.
• Strong understanding of fund structures, fund accounting, capital calls/distributions, management fee and carried interest mechanics.
• Excellent Excel and Financial modeling skills.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism handling confidential information.
• Self-directed and reliable, comfortable working independently in a small, fast-moving firm.
