That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.What you’ll doResponsibilitiesWork with engineers, designers, and product managers to design and build highly scalable and secure consumer experiences that process billions of dollars per yearDesign and build APIs, services, systems and experiments that evaluate the effectiveness of new and existing product features against critical business metricsCoach and mentor junior engineers, assist in hiring, and partner to develop team culture/best practicesParticipate in all parts of the software development workflow to improve engineering standards, tooling, and processesOperate at the intersection of data science and software engineering - apply state of the art data analysis tools and ML to understand/improve product and user behaviorsBuild software including creation, modification, and testing of source code written in Ruby, JavaScript, Typescript, and JVM languagesWho you areMinimum requirements6 years of Software Engineering experience.Position also requires the following:6 years of experience in building software with Typescript, Javascript, and Ruby;4 years of experience in building web or mobile applications;3 years of experience with SQL databases;2 years of experience in writing technical design documents; and1 year of experience in designing and implementing large scale consumer payment experiments.Salary: $190,400 – $285,600/yr.This salary range represents the base salary range for the role and any sales commissions / sales bonuses targets, if applicable, would be in addition to the base salary.40 hrs/week50% remote work permitted.Multiple Positions Available.Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
