As the business continues to grow, they need a hands-on accounting leader who can bring structure, precision, and ownership to a fast-moving, inventory-driven finance function. Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations, managing workflow, priorities, and deadlines across a team of three staff accountants.
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, including journal entry review, reconciliations, accruals, and cutoff.
• Oversee bank and cash activity, including daily bank review, payment processing, and weekly cash flow reporting and forecasting.
• Maintain the chart of accounts and general ledger master data in Acumatica, ensuring consistent structure and data integrity.
• Direct inventory and cost accounting, including standard costs, landed cost allocation, and purchase price variance analysis.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of seven years of progressive accounting experience, including close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• At least three years directly managing or overseeing accounting staff, including work assignment, review, and performance support.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP with proven experience owning a chart of accounts and general ledger in an ERP system.

Preferred

• Experience in consumer products, distribution, manufacturing, or another inventory-based business.
• Background in inventory and cost accounting, including COGS, standard costs, and landed cost analysis.
• Familiarity with Acumatica, Velixo, or comparable ERP and financial reporting tools.
