Testing Manager

Description:
The Testing Manager will be responsible for the following at each project milestone:

1. Test Strategy & Planning:
   • Review and execute a comprehensive testing strategy for the T24 implementation across Miami and Geneva.
   • Define test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to ensure full system coverage, implementing them in Jira/XRay.
   • Establish clear testing timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with project milestones.
2. UAT & SIT Coordination & User Engagement:
   • Work closely with business users to define UAT objectives and criteria.
   • Oversee test case execution, support business users and testers on the execution of test cases, and analyze test results.
   • Coordinate UAT activities, ensuring users are properly engaged and trained.
   • Track UAT progress, collect feedback, and manage defect triage to ensure a smooth testing cycle.
   • Support Jira/Xray implementation at the bank, training business users and supporting them day-to-day.
3. Defect Management & Resolution:
   • Collaborate with the development team to analyze and resolve defects efficiently.
   • Understand business priorities and issues' criticality, prioritize and escalate critical issues impacting project timelines.
   • Ensure defects are tracked, resolved, and re-tested within agreed timelines.
4. Testing Team Leadership:
   • Manage and mentor the testing team, ensuring efficient workload distribution.
   • Oversee both manual and automated testing efforts, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
   • Support the implementation of testing tools (e.g., Katalon) and frameworks for test management and execution.
   • Promote best practices in testing, both manual and automated, to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
5. Tools & Reporting:
   • Use JIRA and Xray to track test cases, defects, and progress reports.
   • Generate and present test execution reports and incident resolution reports to stakeholders.
   • Ensure transparency in the testing process by providing regular status updates.
6. Continuous Improvement:
   • Identify opportunities to enhance testing processes for efficiency and accuracy.
   • Stay updated on industry best practices and testing methodologies.
   • dvocate for test automation and innovation in testing strategies.

Banking industry experience
The Testing Manager must have 10+ years of experience in software testing within the banking industry. Experience in private banking and wealth management is also required. Hands-on experience with Temenos T24 is considered a plus.

Test management tools expertise
Strong knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA and Xray is required. The candidate must be able to use these tools to track test cases, defects, and progress reports, as well as support their implementation and train business users on their day-to-day use.

UAT and SIT coordination
For UAT and SIT coordination, the Testing Manager will work closely with business users to define UAT objectives and criteria. Additionally, they will be required to produce a weekly report detailing the main achievements of the week, next tasks and outcomes, risks and issues, and actions that require escalation. A weekly time report with the hours to be invoiced will also be recorded in Jira and in Fluid.

On-site presence
The Testing Manager is expected to be located on-site in the Miami office.
