OSP Engineer

OSP Engineer - II
Experience with Canvas/3GIS is preferred. Local experience is preferred. Targeted years of experience: 3-5 years.
Responsibilities:
- Fiber plant design, and general construction knowledge.
- Experience in telecommunications / data networking or wireless industry.
- Strong computer skills (databases, processes, and administrative) - comprehensive knowledge and skill for more complex applications to include Word, Excel, Visio, ArcGIS/ESRI, 3GIS, Google Earth, etc.
- Knowledge of the network plant and local practices.
- Experience with working application of engineering systems and databases.
- Working knowledge of right-of-way, property rights, and permit acquisition.
- May include fielding, site surveys, etc.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- Knowledge of OSP Engineering
- Experience working with vendors/contracts
- GIS/Drafting Skills
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Proficient in 3GIS
- Experience with construction drawings/asbuilts
- Experience working on virtual teams
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience
