Some examples of assistance needed could include:/pulliAssists with educational programs to maintain and improve staff competence in support of Inova Health Systems goals and strategic initiatives./liliAssists with programs to orient staff to patient care standards, performance standards, and procedures./liliAssists with classroom training to support entry programs for staff./liliSupport the implementation of educational programs that support retention of staff./liliMay perform other duties as assigned./li/ulpThis is an evolving role and the expectation is to provide positive ongoing support to our Clinical Technician Academy while role modeling Inovas values./ppHours: PRN; Monday-Friday (typical office hours); at least 1 shift per week/ppLocation: INPD (Fairview) located in Falls Church, VA/ppstrongMinimum Qualifications:/strong/pullistrongEducation:/strong Bachelors Degree in Nursing/lilistrongExperience:/strong 2 years of progressive experience in nursing in designated specialty/lilistrongCertification:/strong BLS from the American Heart Association; Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state RN License./li/ulpstrongPreferred Qualifications:/strong/pulliRelevant teaching experience in a clinical setting or a school of nursing./liliOver 2 years of recent RN inpatient experience/li/ul/div
