First American is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Escrow Assistant to join our collaborative, in-office team in Solvang, California. In this role, you will support an experienced and fun escrow team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will help keep transactions moving, provide outstanding service to customers, and play an important role in helping buyers and sellers successfully reach the closing table. What You'll Do Support the escrow process by opening orders, entering closing statement information, preparing documents for closing, and assisting with disbursement and post-closing follow-up Communicate regularly with customers and internal partners throughout the escrow process Review and interpret agreements and instructions related to escrow closings Use a variety of technologies and systems to support accurate and efficient transactions Help deliver a seamless, professional, and positive experience for every customer Partner closely with the escrow team to manage priorities and keep transactions moving forward What You'll Bring A passion for helping customers and providing exceptional service A professional, positive, and team-oriented approach Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through The ability to problem-solve, manage multiple priorities, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment Natural curiosity and an eagerness to learn and grow Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software and technology High school diploma or equivalent Two or more years of escrow-related experience preferred Join a company that values its people, invests in their growth, and provides the opportunity to build a meaningful career all while working alongside a great team in one of California's most distinctive communities. This position is eligible for bonus pay and/or incentives for production or other goals. This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
