The practice utilizes a collaborative care model, with Medical Assistants working closely with providers and other clinical teams to help patients stay engaged with their treatment plans and ongoing healthcare needs.They are seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant for an immediate opening in their Fort Worth office.Job DescriptionThe Bilingual Medical Assistant will provide clinical and patient-care support within a busy primary care environment. This position goes beyond traditional rooming responsibilities and includes patient education, care coordination, follow-up, and communication between patients and members of the clinical team.The ideal candidate is bilingual, compassionate when working with older adults, and comfortable helping patients understand their care instructions, referrals, testing, and ongoing treatment plans.Key ResponsibilitiesObtain and update patient medical histories and relevant health informationDocument the patient's primary reason for the visit and any recent changes in overall healthSupport preventive care initiatives and assist with closing outstanding care gapsReview provider instructions and next steps with patients following appointmentsHelp patients understand referral information and follow-up requirementsCommunicate routine lab and diagnostic results within established clinical guidelines and escalate concerns to the appropriate providerAssist with remote patient monitoring activities and ongoing care coordinationReinforce provider recommendations and help patients understand their established care plansRespond promptly to patient calls, messages, and clinical questions within the MA's scopeCoordinate with other Medical Assistants and multidisciplinary care teams to maintain continuity of careDocument patient interactions and clinical information accurately within the electronic health recordProvide additional clinical support as needed to maintain efficient daily patient flowQualificationsBilingual required2–3 years of Medical Assistant experience preferredMedical Assistant certification is preferred but not requiredPrevious experience working with geriatric or senior patient populations is a plusExperience within primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, or a similar outpatient setting preferredComfortable using electronic health records and learning new clinical systemsStrong patient communication and customer service skillsAbility to work effectively within a collaborative clinical teamAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
