MAU is hiring a Project Controls Administrator for our client in Columbia, SC. As a Project Controls Administrator, you will keep project data, reports, schedules, and vendor follow-ups organized and accurate so the project management team can keep projects on track. Shift Information

• Flexible work hours, including four-day workweek or other schedule options
• On-site position in Columbia, SC; remote and hybrid work are not available

Required Education and Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a related role, such as project administration, project coordination, project controls, project finance, procurement, or operations

Preferred Education and Experience

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered instead of a degree
• Background in a manufacturing, engineering, construction, or technical project environment
• Familiarity with project controls concepts such as cost tracking, budgets, commitments, schedules, and project performance
• Experience working with vendors and procurement teams
• Familiarity with ERP, financial, or project management systems
• Experience building management- or executive-level reports and dashboards

General Requirements

• Advanced Excel proficiency with VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas, and reporting
• Strong data entry skills and an exceptional eye for detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read project data and pick out trends or discrepancies
• Ability to create clear, meaningful reports for project teams and leadership
• Strong organization and time management, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to communicate and follow up effectively with vendors, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently, follow established processes, and see tasks through on time
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools

Essential Functions

• Build and update project trackers, dashboards, reports, and other project controls tools
• Gather, enter, and reconcile project data, keeping it accurate and consistent
• Organize and analyze project information using advanced Excel tools such as VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas, and reporting features
• Produce scheduled and ad hoc project reports for project teams and executive leadership
• Review project data to spot trends, discrepancies, risks, and items that need follow-up
• Turn project metrics into clear insights that explain how projects are performing
• Monitor project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and action items to keep execution on track
• Work with vendors and procurement on financial information, documentation, purchasing, commitments, and deliveries
• Support Project Managers with project documentation, reporting, planning, and administrative tasks
• Keep project files organized and make sure documentation and records stay accurate and up to date
• Help track project costs, commitments, expenditures, and other financial information as needed
• Manage project communications and follow up with internal and external stakeholders until open items are resolved
• Recommend improvements to project controls, reporting, and administrative processes
• Confirm data is accurate and consistent across project, financial, and procurement systems
