Primary Responsibilities:
Crafting Custom Woodwork: Create high-quality custom millwork items such as cabinets, furniture,
and architectural details.
Reading Blueprints: Interpret and follow detailed blueprints and drawings to meet the exact
specifications of custom orders.
Machine Operation: Operate various woodworking machines like saws, planers, and joiners to cut
and shape wood.
Hand Finishing: Use hand tools to finish surfaces, fit pieces together, and apply finishes.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet design specifications and
high standards of craftsmanship.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience as a custom woodworker, with knowledge and understanding of
historic millwork preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with standard woodworking machinery and hand tools.
