Bookkeeper Accountant

Job Description Marcum Search is assisting our well-established law firm client in their search for a full-time Bookkeeper/Accountant to work in their downtown Cleveland, Ohio office. The accountant will perform accounting duties including full-cycle accounting through monthly, quarterly and yearly closings. The ideal person will also have the willingness and ability to support light HR duties. Primary Responsibilities and Job Duties include but are not limited to Lead all accounting efforts for the firm, working closely with the partners. Including general ledger accounting, invoicing, billing, collections, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Report information to partners, accounting firm, and financial institutions. Additional accounting and HR responsibilities as required to meet the needs of the business. The ideal candidate will present the following qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting strongly preferred. 4 plus years of accounting experience. Law firm experience would be a plus, but not required. Strong analytical and communication skills. Computer proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook.
