Job Full Description

We are currently hiring for an ACCOUNTING CLERK . This is a direct hire position with full benefits. Salary $45,000-$47,000 depending on experience.

The Accounting Clerk supports the accounting department by performing a variety of clerical and financial tasks. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping functions.

Responsibilities

Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Prepare and issue invoices to customers
Verify and reconcile bank statements and financial records
Enter financial data into accounting software and maintain accurate records
Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reports
Maintain filing systems for financial documents and records
Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing or payment inquiries
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Prepare basic financial reports and spreadsheets as requested
Perform general administrative and clerical duties for the accounting department

Qualifications

1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (such as QuickBooks or similar systems)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time-management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

$45,000 to $47,000
