Job Full Description

We are currently hiring for an ACCOUNTING CLERK . This is a direct hire position with full benefits. Salary $45,000-$47,000 depending on experience.


The Accounting Clerk supports the accounting department by performing a variety of clerical and financial tasks. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping functions.



Responsibilities

• Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Prepare and issue invoices to customers
• Verify and reconcile bank statements and financial records
• Enter financial data into accounting software and maintain accurate records
• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reports
• Maintain filing systems for financial documents and records
• Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing or payment inquiries
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare basic financial reports and spreadsheets as requested
• Perform general administrative and clerical duties for the accounting department

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (such as QuickBooks or similar systems)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
