Accounting Clerk ( Temporary)

Accounting Clerk The Accounting Clerk's daily tasks are detailed, high-volume, deadline-based work. They will need strong excel and analytical skills, to ensure accurate and timely results. Opportunity for growth over time. Duties & Responsibilities Work with various members of the accounting department to complete daily routines Participate in daily reconciliations Provide accurate deadline driven work Maintain files for accounts receivable, billing and accounts payable Assist with accounts receivable and the application of customer payments Review bills for accuracy and proper coding Assist with the organization of paperwork Speak to clients about payments, refunds, and statements Other duties as assigned Requirements: 1+ years proven experience working within an accounting department BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other related field, preferred Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferred Motivated to learn and take on new challenges and base level work at the same time Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills
