Accounting Clerk
The Accounting Clerk's daily tasks are detailed, high-volume, deadline-based work. They will need strong excel and analytical skills, to ensure accurate and timely results. Opportunity for growth over time.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with various members of the accounting department to complete daily routines
- Participate in daily reconciliations
- Provide accurate deadline driven work
- Maintain files for accounts receivable, billing and accounts payable
- Assist with accounts receivable and the application of customer payments
- Review bills for accuracy and proper coding
- Assist with the organization of paperwork
- Speak to clients about payments, refunds, and statements
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 1+ years proven experience working within an accounting department
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other related field, preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferred
- Motivated to learn and take on new challenges and base level work at the same time
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
