Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients using a variety of diagnostic tests and functional assessments to establish their physical capacities and limitations.
• Create customized treatment plans that align with patient goals, physician input, and evidence-based practices, adjusting strategies based on patient feedback and progress.
• Employ a range of physical therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities such as heat and electrical stimulation, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective treatment.
• Educate patients and their families about self-care techniques, home exercise programs, and therapeutic activities to encourage a proactive approach in managing their conditions.
• Provide guidance and expertise to physicians and interdisciplinary team members regarding rehabilitation strategies and adaptations required for various physical challenges.
• Supervise and mentor non-professional staff and support personnel involved in the delivery of patient care, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and safety standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. You will work with a diverse clientele, including active seniors and athletes, each requiring personalized attention and care strategies to facilitate recovery and improve functional mobility.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of California.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in orthopedic physical rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
• Commitment to patient-centered care, with a clean professional record and no prior disciplinary actions.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
