Your Role

• Conduct both routine and advanced laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and others, following established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, identify errors, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing whenever necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, guide new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy, safe workspace while adhering to regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Necessities

• ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) certification to be achieved within one year of hire.
• Maintain an active certification throughout the duration of your employment.
