Description:

The selected technicians will support the Sterile Processing Service (SPS) line by performing duties related to the decontamination, cleaning, inspection, sterilization, assembly, packaging, and distribution of reusable medical equipment (RME).
Decontamination & Cleaning: Clean, decontaminate, and process surgical instruments and Reusable Medical Devices (RMD).
High-Level Disinfection (HLD): Execute all sterilization and HLD processes utilizing Steam autoclaving, Sterrad, VPRO, Medivator, Trophon, and Cidex OPA equipment.
Assembly & Inspection: Inspect, assemble, package, and store instrument trays with extreme precision, identifying and replacing any worn or damaged instruments.
Specialty Surgical Support: Support a comprehensive array of surgical specialties including General, GYN, Ortho, ENT, Urology, Vascular, Dental, Robotics, and Podiatry.
Handle flexible endoscopes strictly according to manufacturer Instructions for Use (IFUs).
Quality Assurance & Testing: Conduct biological and chemical testing, including internal/external indicators and Bowie-Dick sterilization efficacy tests.
Inventory & Tracking Systems: Utilize the Censitrac Instrument Tracking System to input daily workloads and capture tracking data.
