Construction Project Assistant

Construction Project Assistant Primary Responsibilities Send and track RFPs (Requests for Pricing/Proposals) to ensure that the cost of changes is provided to customers in a timely manner. Review information from subcontractors about the products to be used in construction and ensure it meets the specified project requirements. Submit information about the products being used in construction to the Architect of Record for approval. Assist in creating RFIs (Requests for Information). These requests are sent to the Architect when clarification is required because the project drawings or specifications are unclear. Assist in creating project schedules by gathering task durations from subcontractors and importing them into Microsoft Project. Document control activities: ensure that coworkers in the field always have access to the most current drawing set. Maintain and add to our list of prospective bidders. Communicate with bidders regarding upcoming projects and assist them with obtaining the information needed to create proposals in a timely fashion.
