Deputy Program Manager

Marathon TS is looking for a Deputy Program Manager to support the PMO office. Key responsibilities include assisting in the management and execution of task orders, supporting acquisition processes and contract negotiations, facilitating and overseeing agreements, coordinating and managing projects, overseeing administrative functions, assisting in financial planning, budgeting, and cost estimation, supporting procurement activities, implementing and managing processes for continuous improvement, developing and implementing strategic plans, supporting the development and management of systems engineering processes and documentation, managing product lifecycle and support activities, developing strategies and policies, facilitating working groups, conducting technical assessments, overseeing product development and deployment activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements include active TS/SCI clearance, a bachelor's degree in Program/Project Management, Information Systems, Business Management, or another related field, PMP Certification (preferred), 8+ years of experience related to the execution and management of medium to large-scale Information Technology (IT) Projects, 5+ years of DoD Information Technology Experience, 3+ years of supporting policy development and requirements generation, and demonstrated experience engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.

Skills and competencies include the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, strong verbal and written communication skills, strong leadership and team management abilities, the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, proficiency in project management tools and software, knowledge of financial planning and budgeting tools, familiarity with systems engineering processes and documentation, experience with procurement and asset management systems, the ability to produce technical documentation and reports, knowledge of software development and deployment processes, and familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
