Work Environment

The position is based at our onsite rehabilitation facility in Burlingame, California, which is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and treatment tools. Our facility is designed for a regularly scheduled flow of patients, providing an inviting and efficient atmosphere. You will work Monday to Friday, with flexible hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, allowing for a work-life balance that supports both personal well-being and professional fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical function and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Implement specified treatment interventions for various conditions affecting mobility, strength, and overall function, using evidence-based practices.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to optimize outcomes in accordance with patient needs.
• Educate patients and their families about care plans, including therapy techniques and exercises they can perform at home to support recovery.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and policies, ensuring a safe and organized workspace, including preparation and maintenance of therapy equipment.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss patient progress and facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Carry On Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient population ranging from postoperative orthopedic patients to those managing chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in California.
• Minimum of two years of experience working in an outpatient setting, particularly within orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proficient in managing electronic medical records (EMR), with experience in systems such as WebPT or similar platforms.
• Strong manual therapy skills with a focus on patient assessment and treatment.

Compensation and Benefits
