Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough movement evaluations to identify patient-specific needs and goals.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized therapy programs based on the latest evidence-based practices.
• Manage a patient caseload of 1-2 patients per hour, ensuring optimal time management and focused attention.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modality application, to enhance recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise regimens, ensuring they understand techniques to maintain functional mobility post-treatment.
• Regularly assess patient progress and provide feedback to refine therapy strategies, collaborating with other healthcare professionals as necessary.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of treatments and patient progress in our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in developing tailored rehabilitation programs aimed at improving strength, flexibility, and functional mobility. You will engage with a diverse patient population, including geriatric clients and younger individuals with sports-related injuries, ensuring a comprehensive and inclusive approach to care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Higher qualifications such as a Master's or Doctorate degree are preferred.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in California, or the ability to obtain one prior to joining our team.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to modify treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that facilitate positive patient relationships, contributing to a supportive therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 140,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
