Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Burlingame. The facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and technologies designed to enhance patient recovery. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, designing tailored therapy programs that address individual functional limitations and rehabilitation goals.
• Provide one-on-one therapeutic interventions, usually treating 1–2 patients per hour , ensuring that each session is focused on maximizing patient engagement and efficacy.
• Incorporate evidence-based practices into treatments to streamline recovery and improve outcomes. This may include techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities for pain management.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and adapt treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient feedback, ensuring effective recovery pathways.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes meticulously in our electronic health records system, WebPT , while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist in our Orthopedic Outpatient Office, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Each patient presents unique challenges, allowing you to tailor your approach to meet their specific rehabilitation needs while fostering a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• An active California Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure within the state.
• Proven ability to implement effective, patient-centered treatment plans with a strong foundation in clinical reasoning.
• Excellent communication skills to engage and motivate patients, ensuring understanding and adherence to therapy protocols.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of professional experience in a physical therapy setting with a focus on outpatient orthopedic care.
• Familiarity with the WebPT documentation system or similar electronic health record software.
• Strong problem-solving skills to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and clinical situations.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
