Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans that address individual needs and goals.
• Administer one-on-one therapeutic interventions, focusing on orthopedic conditions, and adapting treatments based on ongoing evaluations.
• Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to facilitate recovery, utilizing modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient care and progress through an electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with documentation standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to provide cohesive care, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on patient response.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and home care strategies to support long-term rehabilitation and recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our patient population includes individuals of varying ages, from young athletes to older adults, each with unique recovery needs. Your ability to tailor treatments to diverse cases will be essential in fostering positive patient experiences and outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; advanced degrees (Master's or Doctorate) from an accredited program are preferred.
• A valid California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one is essential.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills to adapt treatments according to individual progress.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and motivate patients in their recovery journey.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
