Work Environment

At our onsite rehabilitation center in Burlingame, you will find a professional environment designed to foster teamwork and innovation. We operate Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting an excellent work-life balance. You'll work in a collaborative setting alongside other therapists, administrative staff, and healthcare professionals, ensuring a coordinated approach to patient care and outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and physical evaluations to determine patients' individual rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, incorporating both therapeutic exercises and patient education to facilitate recovery.
• Manage caseload effectively by treating 1-2 patients per hour, ensuring high-quality care while maintaining efficiency and documentation standards.
• Utilize our electronic medical record (EMR) system to maintain precise documentation of treatment progress, patient feedback, and modifications to care plans.
• Educate patients on safe recovery techniques, injury prevention strategies, and methods to manage pain outside of therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes, sharing insights and participating in regular case reviews and team meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on providing care to a diverse outpatient population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals managing chronic pain, and patients post-operative orthopedic procedures. By employing evidence-based treatment protocols, you will help patients regain motion, strength, and independence, actively contributing to their journey toward recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; additional advanced degrees, such as a Doctorate or Master's in Physical Therapy, are preferred.
• A valid California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one before beginning employment.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of rehabilitation principles, enabling you to create effective, individualized treatment plans.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust with patients to promote engagement and compliance.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating proficiency in managing a varied patient caseload.

Compensation and Benefits
