Key Responsibilities

• Assess and address the individualized goals and needs of each patient, developing personalized treatment plans that reflect their specific requirements.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring thorough attention to each case and fostering strong therapeutic relationships.
• Provide hands-on treatment and employ various techniques to enhance patients' mobility and physical performance.
• Design and implement effective exercise programs aligned with best practices in orthopedic care, while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Create tailored wellness programs to encourage a proactive approach to health and fitness for each patient.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatments and continually adapt your approach based on patients' progress and changing needs.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans comprehensively, utilizing EMR systems to ensure accurate records and continuity of care.
• Foster a motivating atmosphere for patients, helping them remain engaged and focused on their recovery throughout their treatment journey.
• Promote an active lifestyle by educating patients on improving their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within our practice to ensure holistic care and comprehensive treatment.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to reinforce therapy goals and encourage adherence to prescribed programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient base primarily serves individuals with private insurance who are seeking specialized orthopedic care. The common conditions include post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain management, and general musculoskeletal disorders. Our diverse clientele allows for a broad spectrum of treatment experiences, where you will utilize evidence-based practices to address patients ranging from everyday athletes to individuals recovering from surgery.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, with no board actions or disciplinary issues recorded against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and in creating individualized exercise plans.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably WebPT, ensuring efficient and accurate documentation.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, specifically focusing on rehabilitation and sports medicine.
• Experience working with a diverse patient demographic, adapting treatment techniques to fit various needs.
• Proven ability to implement evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The offered salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
