Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough movement assessments for each patient and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Manage a caseload of 1-2 patients per hour, effectively addressing their rehabilitation goals with compassion and expertise.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, using evidence-based protocols to modify treatment plans as necessary for optimal recovery.
• Educate patients on appropriate exercises and techniques they can use at home to enhance their long-term recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Document all patient interactions and progress in our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and injuries, including but not limited to joint replacements, sports-related injuries, and trauma cases. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient demographic, ranging from athletes seeking high-performance recovery to seniors aiming to regain mobility and independence. Your role is pivotal in guiding these individuals through every step of their rehabilitation journey, ensuring they feel supported and motivated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong analytical skills to develop and adjust treatment strategies based on patient progress.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in using therapeutic modalities and specialized equipment relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience in conducting both one-on-one and group therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 120,000 and USD 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
