Position Overview Professional Performance Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic outpatient clinic in Redwood City, California. This full-time role focuses on helping patients regain strength, improve mobility, and recover from orthopedic injuries or surgeries in a collaborative and supportive setting.

The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our outpatient office, which is designed to provide a welcoming and practical atmosphere for effective therapy sessions. Provide hands-on therapy sessions, typically seeing 1-2 patients per hour, incorporating a range of therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and modalities to enhance recovery.

Continuously monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs and response to therapy.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate will work primarily with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Our clinic caters to a diverse patient population that includes athletes seeking rehabilitation as well as older adults recovering from surgery or managing chronic musculoskeletal issues. This role plays a crucial part in helping patients regain their independence and return to activities they enjoy.

A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is preferred.

An active California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one is essential for this role.

Exceptional communication skills are necessary to inspire and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, including providing clear instructions and education.

Experience utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems for managing patient documentation and progress tracking is desirable.

Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and treatment methods specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.
