Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, allowing you to engage directly with patients in their homes and provide personalized care. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, facilitating a consistent footprint in the local community. Our supportive orthopedic outpatient environment ensures that you will have access to the resources and collaboration needed to thrive in your role.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with a moderate caseload of 1 to 2 patients per hour, ensuring dedicated attention to each individual's needs.
• Design comprehensive treatment plans based on thorough assessments, employing evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's condition.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously using WebPT—ensuring all records are current and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a multidisciplinary approach to care, enhancing patient outcomes and recovery trajectories.
• Employ hands-on therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to guide patients through their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will provide rehabilitation services that are both proactive and reactive, aimed at helping patients regain function and independence in their daily lives. Your ability to motivate and build rapport with these patients will be key in fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current California Physical Therapy License or eligibility for licensure in California.
• Strong foundation in hands-on therapy techniques and comfortable delivering patient-centered care.
• Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to inspire confidence and encourage patients towards their recovery goals.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, with a preference for orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems, particularly WebPT.
• Experience working in home care environments is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
