Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work primarily onsite within a home care setting, providing one-on-one therapy in a comfortable and familiar atmosphere for patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations to establish individualized treatment plans.
• Administer hands-on therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercise, and patient education to enhance mobility and reduce pain.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately using our electronic medical record system, WebPT, to ensure effective communication with interdisciplinary teams.
• Modify and adjust treatment plans regularly based on patients' response to therapy, ensuring a flexible approach to rehabilitation.
• Engage in continuous education and training to remain up-to-date with the latest therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population, particularly focusing on orthopedic cases such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Your patients will range from young athletes to older adults, each with unique rehabilitation needs and health histories. This role requires a compassionate approach as you motivate patients through challenging recovery processes while monitoring their emotional and physical responses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with a Master's or Doctorate degree preferred.
• Valid Physical Therapy license in California or eligibility to obtain one by the start date.
• Proficient critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to assess patient needs and tailor treatment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience
