Saddle Mind Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our esteemed orthopedic outpatient clinic located in Redwood City, California. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in aid our patients in recovering their mobility, preventing injuries, and achieving their personalized movement goals.

Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our well-equipped outpatient office, where you will interact with a diverse patient population. Our facility is designed to support various rehabilitation needs, featuring state-of-the-art equipment, private treatment rooms, and a welcoming atmosphere that fosters healing. You will work a schedule from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough movement evaluations for each patient to assess physical capabilities, limitations, and aspirations.
• Design, implement, and adjust individualized therapy programs that cater to each patient's unique needs and goals, ensuring effective rehabilitation.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, managing 1-2 patients per hour while maintaining high standards of care.
• Use therapeutic modalities and hands-on techniques to alleviate pain and improve functionality.
• Educate patients on appropriate exercises and techniques to enhance their mobility and prevent future injuries.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of each patient's progress and treatment plans in our electronic health record (EHR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, or chronic conditions that impact their mobility. You will engage with individuals of all ages, tailoring your approach to meet the needs of children, adults, and seniors alike, ensuring they receive compassionate care that addresses their specific rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from a recognized and accredited institution.
• A valid and active Physical Therapy license issued by the California Board of Physical Therapy or eligibility to obtain one.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and their families, enhancing the rehabilitation experience.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities to adapt treatment methodologies based on patient progress and feedback.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably with a focus on orthopedics.
• Experience working within an outpatient clinic environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a proficiency in managing patient documentation and scheduling.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
