Functional Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in Millbrae, California. Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient facility, which operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and develop comprehensive, customized rehabilitation plans for each patient, utilizing evidence-based treatment methods.
• Manage a reasonable patient caseload, ensuring each patient receives the necessary attention and care, typically seeing 1-2 patients per hour.
• Utilize WebPT for maintaining clear and precise documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes, facilitating seamless coordination with interdisciplinary team members.
• Guide each patient through their rehabilitation journey, from the first visit to discharge, tracking improvement and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing education and training to stay informed about the latest therapy techniques and industry standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic specializes in orthopedic outpatient care, primarily serving patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with a diverse range of clients, from athletes seeking to return to peak performance to individuals managing chronic pain or recovering from surgical procedures. Your role is instrumental in ensuring that every patient feels supported and equipped to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; additional qualifications such as a Master's degree or Doctorate in PT are preferred.
• Current licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in California is mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and motivate patients throughout their recovery process.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred, giving you the skills and insights to excel in this role.
• Experience with specific rehabilitation methodologies and tools that enhance patient treatment sessions and outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance.
