The Physical Therapist Assistant role is situated onsite at our hospital facility in Burlingame. Key Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in executing customized treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries.
• Guide patients through a range of therapeutic exercises tailored to their rehabilitation needs, focusing on regaining strength, flexibility, and mobility.
• Administer treatments and modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Monitor patient progress diligently, documenting treatment outcomes and status updates to provide accurate information to supervising therapists.
• Educate patients and their families on effective home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and best practices for ongoing recovery.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations throughout all patient interactions and maintain meticulous clinical records for quality assurance.
• Collaborate proactively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.

Qualifications
