Work Environment

At Personal Touch Physical Therapy Group, you will work onsite in a hospital setting known for its state-of-the-art facilities and advanced therapeutic equipment. Our outpatient clinic is designed to facilitate a positive healing environment, allowing for comfortable and effective patient interactions. Your work hours will typically fall within the weekdays, with schedules from Monday to Friday, available at either 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists during therapy sessions by effectively guiding patients through their personalized treatment plans, ensuring safety and promoting proper techniques.
• Implement manual therapy interventions and therapeutic exercises to facilitate recovery and enhance patient mobility.
• Educate patients about rehabilitation techniques, injury prevention strategies, and encourage adherence to prescribed exercises both in and out of the clinic.
• Document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on observed outcomes and in collaboration with the physical therapy team.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT to maintain accurate patient records and manage appointments efficiently.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in California.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in facilitating therapy interventions.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems, ideally WebPT, as well as familiarity with clinical documentation practices.
• Ability to effectively engage with patients, demonstrating empathy and strong communication skills throughout the care process.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescriptions.
• Knowledge of current best practices in physical therapy with an emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Prior involvement in patient education efforts, showcasing the ability to empower patients in their recovery journeys.

Compensation and Benefits

This rewarding position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 85,000 annually , depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to your base salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
