Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in executing individualized patient treatment plans developed for rehabilitation and recovery.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility training, ensuring the correct techniques are used to promote safety and effectiveness.
• Support manual therapy practices to alleviate discomfort and improve function, which may include various massage and joint mobilization techniques.
• Measure and document patient progress diligently, using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as WebPT to maintain up-to-date tracking of treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy processes, strategies for self-management, and injury prevention techniques to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, actively participating in case discussions and therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We primarily serve orthopedic patients recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Our clientele includes individuals across different age groups and activity levels, each requiring personalized attention and care tailored to their specific rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in California.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

Compensation and Benefits
