Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess movement dysfunctions and functional limitations caused by various medical issues, injuries, or congenital conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect each patient's goals, medical history, and physical capabilities while adhering to evidence-based practices.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, communicating effectively with colleagues and adjusting care strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation strategies, exercises, and techniques to encourage engagement in their treatment and recovery processes.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory, licensing, and payer requirements, including daily postings and billing procedures.
• Ensure a safe and organized work environment by caring for therapy equipment and maintaining cleanliness within the treatment areas.

As a Physical Therapist at Med Lake, you will primarily work with individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic issues, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Our patient demographic ranges from active adults to seniors needing assistance in regaining functional independence and improving quality of life through targeted therapy.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• Possession of a current and valid California State licensure to practice physical therapy.
• A National Provider Identifier (NPI) number for insurance purposes.
• Demonstrated ability to apply evidence-based therapeutic exercises tailored to diverse patient needs and comorbidities.
• Exceptional communication skills to convey treatment plans and educate patients effectively.
• A collaborative spirit, enabling you to work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team while also being able to operate independently.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in outpatient settings, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation and treatment of sports-related injuries.
• Experience using various assessment tools and therapeutic modalities that support orthopedic rehabilitation.
• A strong understanding of current evidence-based practices for physical therapy interventions.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and skill level. In addition to salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
