# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Medical-Surgical Float Pool – North Dakota Start Date: November 16, 2026
Location: Fargo, North Dakota

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week; every other weekend and holiday rotation; daily unit assignment within Med-Surg cluster Highlights:

• Float Pool position across multiple medical-surgical units including oncology, general med-surg, trauma, cardiac, neuro, observation, medical behavioral, and innovations
• Level 1 trauma center experience in a busy, fast-paced acute care environment with 250+ beds
• EPIC EMR system utilized across all units
• Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5 (day shift) and 1:5-6 (night shift) depending on unit
• Comprehensive orientation includes full shifts on multiple campuses with team expectations and facility tours
• Assignment flexibility across multiple campus locations

Requirements:

• Active North Dakota or Compact State RN license (must be submitted with application)
• Minimum 1 year recent Medical-Surgical experience in a large hospital (200+ beds)
• Float Pool or Resource Pool experience strongly preferred
• Experience in a Level 2 or higher trauma center required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• NIHSS certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must not be first-time traveler (exception: candidates with primary Resource Pool/Float Pool experience)
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility
