Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Sales Estimator & Project Coordinator (Entry-Level) to join our team in Jessup, MD. In this role, you will work closely with Commercial Sales Representatives to handle project take-offs, construct estimates, and manage pre-construction submittals.

This is an entry-level entry point with high growth potential into future roles across Sales , Estimating , or Project Management . If you have a foundational understanding of construction documents and an eagerness to build a career in commercial building products, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Project Take-Offs & Estimating

• Perform project take-offs using job site assessments, architectural blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
\n
• Build comprehensive bid packages and request vendor and subcontractor pricing.
\n
• Prepare accurate, detailed project estimates for review by the sales team.
\n
• Maintain organized, meticulous records of all take-offs, estimates, and bid notes.
\n

Pre-Construction Submittals & Coordination

\n
• Prepare complete pre-construction submittal packages in alignment with project specs and coordinate customer reviews and approvals.
\n
• Draft and submit Requests for Information (RFIs) to resolve conflicts or clarify details in drawings and specifications.
\n
• Assist with additional pre-construction and sales tasks as assigned by the Sales Director.
\n

Qualifications & Requirements

\n
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
\n
• Experience: No prior professional experience required — robust on-the-job training is provided!
\n
• Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with architectural plans and construction drawings is preferred.
\n
• Core Skills: Strong attention to detail and precision. Ability to quickly absorb new industry concepts and technical details. Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort learning new software platforms.
