Job Description
Client is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) in modernizing regulatory systems and digital workflows.
The Senior Business Analyst will serve as a key liaison between CCC program staff, enterprise IT, and third-party managed service providers. This role will focus on business process analysis, requirements gathering, workflow mapping, and technology modernization, with an emphasis on maximizing the Commission's existing Salesforce and Microsoft Power Apps investments.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in a complex IT environment.
- Proven expertise in business process mapping, workflow modeling, and structured requirements gathering .
- Demonstrated experience working with Salesforce and/or Microsoft Power Apps environments.
- Strong experience managing relationships between internal business units, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with process-mapping tools such as Lucidchart, Visio, or Miro .
- Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, including objects, fields, page layouts, and basic automation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps components.
- Familiarity with Agile project management tools.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working within a government or public-sector environment .
- Professional experience or domain knowledge in the cannabis licensing and regulation sector.
- Salesforce Certified Business Analyst certification or equivalent credential.
- Experience supporting technology modernization, digital transformation, or workflow automation initiatives.
