As a Policy Service Specialist your focus will be communicating with Homesteaders policy owners, agents and funeral home personnel on a variety of issues from routine to complex. Issuing Texas New Business, Processing Policy changes, Early Pay-ups and Reinstatements are just a part of this role. Cross-training and a dedication to Texas funeral contract compliance will ensure you are never bored!

Requirements

• Two or more years of experience in the insurance industry - Policy Administration, New Business/Underwriting or Claims. Emphasis on Texas compliance in any of these areas is a plus!
• Ability to apply a comprehensive understanding of policy provisions and values as well as preneed funeral contracts to solve work related problems.
• Ability to apply a comprehensive understanding of Texas funeral contract compliance as regulated by the Texas Department of Banking.
• Ability to carry out oral and written instructions with strong aptitude for attention to details.
• Excellent organization skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time.
• A bilingual (Spanish) background a plus!
• The ability to effectively communicate complex issues to a variety of audiences.
